Finally a Judge Who Takes Action

Worcester Telegram & Gazette News Arrested for assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon on June 17. He was arrested again Tuesday for assault and battery and unarmed burglary.

Instead of turning him loose again, District Court Judge Sarah B. Singer declared him to be a risk and revoked his bond.

Still no guarantee that in the long-run he won't attack again, but it is a start. Too often the judges order anger management classes or some other pop-psychology approach to a violent crime. I'm glad judge Singer took the threat seriously.
