No Good Deed Goes Unpunished

Kansas City Star | 09/11/2006 | Hero hasn’t been treated like one So what do you get for stopping a robbery and helping police catch a criminal?
I’ve been shot at, called a snitch and they blew up my car.
Jan. 31, Tyler Williams foiled a robbery at a Dollar General. The fine, upstanding members of his community apparently have a problem with anyone doing anything to help law and order. Though, as he says, he can't prove it is related.

And Dollar General seems to have been ignoring the whole thing, too - though now that the publicity is getting really bad, they might do something.

Tyler Williams was injured that night, and he has 2000 dollars worth of medical bills. Seem Dollar General could cough up that much, just for "good will." To date, Williams has only recieved a 100 dollar savings bond from the KC police dept.
