Women in Hunting

Women are joining the hunt | Battle Creek Enquirer. Another great article about women and the shooting sports. Well, women and outdoor sports generally.
The lines dividing activities traditionally aimed toward men and women are disappearing. State and national programs such as Women in the Outdoors and Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) have helped introduce generations of women to activities such as hunting, fishing (see related story on page 6), skeet shooting, archery, and more.
Hunting of all kinds are covered.

Again it is nice to read an article that doesn't sound shocked by the fact that women are interested in more than cooking and traditional womens' activities. Shooting, hunting, fishing are all fun.
[Becoming an Outdoors Woman] events involve classes on fishing, archery, beginning shotgun and handgun instruction, deer hunting, map and compass, GPS, kayaking, water survival, cast iron cooking and more.
All great ways to spend time with families, friends and ways to enjoy the great outdoors.
