No Shots Fired

Homeowner catches prowler Another defensive use of a firearm in which no shots were fired, no one was hurt.

The headline said "caught" but the truth is the 2 mutants got away. The good news is that the homeowner was unharmed.
Two men in their mid-20s broke into Smith's home on Baton Rouge Road in Williamstown around 4 p.m. One came into the bedroom while the other stayed at the front door.
"I couldn't get the gun out of the holster but I pointed it right at the man's face while we looked at each other," said Smith. "I knew I had to hold the gun steady."
Mutant number 1 ran like a rabbit almost knocking mutant number 2 down.

The police say that Smith could have shot the goblin, but at least no law-abiding citizen got hurt.
