Self-defense still legal in Arkansas

KATV Channel 7 - No Charges Filed in Pine Bluff Home Invasion Shooting A teen was shot by a homeowner after that teen broke into his home.

For the second time in a week, prosecutor Steve Dalrymple has ruled in favor of self-defense.
Dalrymple wrote in a memo to Pine Bluff Police Chief John Howell that the law allows deadly force as an appropriate means of self-defense. The memo says [the homeowner's] actions were tragic but unavoidable.
This was probably a hard decision politically, even if it was easy from a legal point of view. The Brady Bunch will call this "a teen tragically shot," since they ignore little things like home invasion, armed robbery and legal self-defense.

Hats off to Mr. Dalrymple and his support of the law, and the right of self-defense. (It is a human right.)
